This very scarce hardback book from 1985 completes the trilogy by Brian Bonner that presents that story of Inis Eoghain. The period spanned by the narrative (1333-1608) corresponds with the years of the O Dochartaigh hegemony in the area. In recounting the history of the peninsula over three centuries it shows how Inishowen was the centre of alot of the conflict that would occur around Ireland and also recounts the story of Cahir Rua O Dochartaigh the last chieftain to succumb to the English overlords when he heroically died in battle. This book is unavailable anywhere else and is in new condition.
